Detailing advice

How Often Should You Detail Your Car in Texas?

A practical guide to detailing frequency for Central Texas drivers — heat, pollen, commutes and how you use your vehicle.

There's no single right answer, but Central Texas does give cars a harder time than many places. Long, hot summers, intense UV, spring pollen and winter cedar season all add up.

A simple starting point

  • Exterior wash: every two to four weeks, more often during pollen season or after road trips.
  • Interior clean: monthly vacuuming and wipe-down if you're in the car daily.
  • Full detail: a few times a year, or at the change of seasons.

When to detail more often

Pets, kids, long commutes, lake trips and parking outside under trees all shorten the time between details. If you notice dust in the vents, residue on the windshield, or bug build-up on the front bumper, it's time.

Make it easy

The biggest reason people put off detailing is time. A mobile full detail happens where your car is already parked. See our Austin service area to check we cover you.
